Serendipity Guest Cottage is a sumptuous and cosy cottage with a modern feel. Located in the historic village of Prince Albert, the generous space is impeccably clean and clutter-free.

The bedroom has the very best King-size, extra-length bed, a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with a slipper bath, walk-in shower and a separate loo.
There is a double sofa bed in the lounge which is ideal for another adult or two younger children (pre-teen).

The fully equipped kitchen, dining, lounge and work areas have high ceilings and there is a wonderful, calming sense of space.
There is a magical outside shower for hot Karoo days and an upstairs balcony for star-watching and to experience our beautiful sunrises and sunsets. You also have full use of the garden, braai and downstairs lounging areas.
Serendipity Guest Cottage, Jasmine House and the Sweet Dreams Suite are non-smoking, have private parking and free internet. Service dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, at a cost.
There are lovely walks in every direction and two adult bicycles “Ben” and “Jenny” are available. Serendipity is close to good restaurants, art galleries, shops and, most importantly, is 2km from the Lazy Lizard - a perfect ratio of exercise to carrot cake!
Since Serendipity Guest Cottage is so spacious and uncluttered, it is perfect for long weekends or longer stays

Sweet Dreams offers a queen-sized, extra length bed and en-suite bathroom for a third guest or couple, who are travelling as a family or group with guests staying in Serendipity Guest Cottage or Jasmine House.

“I built Serendipity so that guests could relax and be calm, have delicious massages, read, walk, breathe the clean Karoo air, talk and star-gaze.
I feel so lucky living just slightly away from the madding crowd (and the flies and mosquitoes!) People who visit Prince Albert want to feel and smell the harshness and dryness and colours and see our awesome Karoo stars. They understand that we live in a desert and experience droughts and that every day is fragile.
My Serendipity guests want to walk and breathe and catch-up on sleep and re-charge themselves, which is the reason I have a TWO DAY minimum stay policy and also offer Awesome Massages. My visitors love the big sky, the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the upstairs balcony.
There is a choice of good restaurants within a short walk, and delicious Lazy Lizard croissants on a Sunday. If you allow yourself to relax, life is simply so much better here!”
