Lavender Cottage is pet-friendly Mustard Cottage

Yellow House is based on one of Prince Albert’s historical ‘dorpsplase’ – just 1,8km from the centre of town. There are six delightfully restored/repurposed self-catering cottages, each with a stoep to make the most of the glorious Karoo views.

Art and quirky touches, books, electric blankets, aircon and a swimming pool in the almond orchard, work together for a memorable stay. Two of the units, Borrie Cottage and Mustard Cottage, are suited to families and Mustard Cottage with its beautiful teak four-poster is just the place to pamper the weary traveler.


Mustard Cottage

Ginger Cottage is perfect for guests with walking disabilities. A ramp takes one right up to the wide french doors of the cottage which is all on one level, with plenty of space for a wheelchair. The large bathroom is equipped with grab rails in the shower and bath.

Lavender Cottage faces the orchard and is perfect for guests travelling with their dogs. Each cottage has a little private lawn in front, as well as braai facilities. Parking is secure, right next to the cottage.

Yellow House is a stone’s throw from peaceful, safe walking routes into town or up the koppie. We are only 3km from the turn-off to the spectacular Swartberg Pass, a must to drive or cycle up.

Cyclists and adventure bikers are most welcome. We offer assistance where needed and are well informed about routes in the area.
