Kredouw Olive Estate

Kredouw Olive Estate is a small attractive farm at the foot of the Kredouw Pass in the exquisite Prince Albert Valley on the R407, between Klaarstroom and Prince Albert (25km from Prince Albert).

The farm lies at the foot of the mighty Swartberg Mountains. It totals 1000 hectares of which 22 hectares are olives and 7 hectares nuts (pecans and almonds). Ian and Louisa also grow apples, cherries and figs.

The shop stocks olive products and nuts from the farm, as well as skin products produced from their own olive oil, clothes and beautiful surprises.

Things to do at Kredouw Olive Estate

2. A visit to the Olive Oil Factory and Olive tree Nursery

3. Information about the almost extinct Riverine Rabbit and the awareness program at Kredouw. There are still Riverine Rabbits on the farm in the dry riverbeds.

4. A visit to the Kredouw Art Gallery and Stone Circle Walk. Art enthusiasts can visit art venues on the farm, as well as a few environmental installations.

5. A visit to our Kredouw Olive Shop - olive oil, table olives, almonds, pecans, Shasha Beauty Products (manufactured on the farm with olive oil), fresh cherries, apples (when in season) and many other beautiful local and other products. You can also enjoy a light snack and a good cup of coffee on the stoep.
